Why does it take so long to heal. If it has been ohh..I say 5 1/2 months since I had my pacer implanted. My question, is the internal wound around the pacer where the pacer is deep seated at...is this skin covered over into place so that nothing can dislocate this tiny silver dollar piece size batter deep within the lodge cavity of my left chest. I still feel sore. Only to the touch though.

My pm is much bigger than a silver dollar, so you must have a very up to date one. They say nothing can dislodge it but I know it can move, as in turn 90 degrees. (mine has!) I don't think it should still be sore, although it depends how sore you are talking about. Maybe get in touch with whoever implanted it and ask and also ask for a check up. Hope this helps.
