Got a call back from the Dr
Finally got a call back today from the drs office, they want me to come in on wed so they can interogate the pacer and see if they can see what is causing my symptoms and hopefully see what happened when I was at the gym and my episode that I had when I was at work thursday. Ever since that night at the gym I have felt very tired and just not myself. Just in case someone didn't read my post of what happened I was at the gym when I got real dizzy and had some chest discomfort so I went and sat down, The longer I sat the worse I felt. For about 20 min I was sweating head to toe in a clamy sweat and so dizzy I had to keep my head between my knees so I wouldn't pass out. I of course didn't have my event monitor set up yet so I couldn't record it but did record an episode at work with fast palpations, sweating, and face and arms turned beat red. Has anyone ever experienced this? I was just at drs office last monday and they said everything was ok but something just doesn't seem right to me. I would appreciate any input!! Thanks

My heart rate was 145 witch is what my upper setting is set at, I was on the treadmill at the time I did not check my heart rate as I was trying to concentrate on not passing out. After this episode I was exhausted and haven't felt the best since. When I had the episode when my face and arms turned beet red I was folding some wash clothes at work( I work in a hospital in med surg) and I had the palpatations, sweating, and dizziness after a few minutes it went away but then felt exhausted afterwards and then turned pale. Do you have any ideas and what should I ask when I go to have my pacer interrogated tomorrow?

I'm surprised at the cavalier attitude they are taking these days about cardiac symptoms. I can remember when dizziness an/or chest pain was a ticket to a night in the ICU. Now it's "Oh well come by in a week or so".
Did you check your HR at the gym when it happened? How about now.? The beet red face and arms are strange.
One possibility could be an anxiety attack brought on by some momentary symptom. It probably the most common cause of cardiac symptoms. Patients unwillingness to accept that they were anxious or panicked may be the reason docs pass off such things.
hope your feeling better,
