pacemaker

Hi, I just being implanted with a pacemaker 4 days ago, I do not how long I can drive car, drink some beer, wine and other, I am a avid golfer, but now I wonder when it can be resumed.
Anybody can advice me accordingly is much appreciated, thanks

The best person to ask is your dr. How long to drive again depends on where you live and what the rules are, and why you got the pm. For instance, if you were passing out it's going to be longer than if you were not. My dr's standard is one month but when I questioned it they said I could drive right away.

As Ronaldo said, alcohol is unrelated to the pm, but check the side effects of any meds you are on.

I live in an area where golf is huge so it's specifically listed in the standard discharge instructions lol. Watch the left side (assuming it's on the left) for 6 weeks, no lifting or raising the arm above shoulder level. Wait 3 months for a full golf swing.
