Got my PM one year ago today. I can say I feel great and look forward to each day with a new view of life. I've been given new energy and a chance to live a long and enjoyable life.
Thank you Doctor. Thank you PM and thank you God.

This is very encouraging to read. I have had my pm 5 weeks now and am still alternating between I can't believe I need this this thing and wow, life is better now. Working on weeding out the disbelief and non acceptance and focusing more on the wow factor. Positive posts like yours really do help. Thanks!
Happy Anniversary jerry!!!!

Attitude and acceptance is very important for recovery. Good for all of you.....what a difference time makes.
Boston, you're on your way. Just think back to 5-6 weeks ago. Acceptance is key.....keep it up!

Member Quotes
I had a pacemaker when I was 11. I never once thought I wasn't a 'normal kid' nor was I ever treated differently because of it. I could do everything all my friends were doing; I just happened to have a battery attached to my heart to help it work.
Congrats!
