This seems to be the number one complaint from a lot of people who receive any heart device.

Usually when we first get our devices the settings are all at what they call a default setting. Most doctors want the device to "settle" and then during your first interrogation (check up) that is when they will start to adjust some of those settings for your particular needs.

Just a little tip:

1) ask for a copy (print out) of your interrogation report. and always ask for them!!!. (some hospitals say no, but at least ask) - any changes made will have a little mark by it, usually something like this: >

2) there are members here that will help you decipher what it all means.

3) suggest that they only make one adjustment (or at the most 2) during your visit, because if they make more than that then you won't know what settings made you feel worse and/or better.

4) ask that you can come back by just calling (and get their phone number) if you don't feel better after they do these adjustments.

It's quite normal to feel this way, well maybe "normal" isn't the right word, but numerous people here have had the same complaint and once they have their setting(s) adjusted, most feel a huge improvement.

Take care and please keep us posted on how you do after you see your doctor.
