Bright red arms when exercising

Hi everyone. I've been lurking since I had my pacemaker placed in Sept 2012 and have appreciated everyone's comments and thoughts. I have a dual chamber Medtronic Revo MRI SureScan. I'm an active 47 year old female. I was diagnosed with SSS with a resting hr of 38 getting as low as 28 with pauses up to 3.2 seconds. My energy was low, foggy thinking, dizzy, etc. I've never black out, thankfully. Post-surgery healing has gone well and I'm running, lifting, etc, again at close to pre-pm levels. I started back on the gym about 4 weeks ago with lifting and recently my first spin class. I noticed while lifting free weights both arms were bright red about 20 minutes into lifting. I had no other symptoms. My heart rate got up to 125 or so depending on the exercise. I stopped at this point. The color was normal about 15-20 min. later. This past Friday I went to my first spin class and noticed my left arm was bright red throughout the class. My hr was approx 120-140 throughout class. Again, no other symptoms and the color returned to normal approx 15 min after I stopped. I don't know if this happens when I run since I wear long sleeves. Will check later today when I run. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm fair skinned (Irish/German) and would get very flushed in the past when exercising but never noticed arms getting this red pre pm. I left a message with the cardio office this past Sun evening. They called back Mon saying this is not a cardiac issue and that if it happens again I need to see my primary doc. I'm obviously unhappy with their answer but will start with my primary with an appt I made for tomorrow morning (I'm confident it will happen again between now and tomorrow morning.) I'd appreciate any feedback you might have. Thanks! Emmary
PS. I had slight tingling in my left arm/hand throughout night with very slight pink color. Both gone now.
