I use an ipad on my chest quite a bit and have no problems with my pacemaker.
Right!

Fire it up and hold it over your pacer to convince yourself once and for all that it is OK.
If trying that causes your heart to stop be sure and let us know! LOL
Seriously I've stood right next to the CB radio antenna on my Jeep while transmitting and no problem.

I have a generic version of a Kindle and I have had no problems. Come to think of it, I had a generic version of a Barbie doll when I was a child.
Hmmm. I see a pattern here...
Part of the problem is us

I've seen posts where someone will insist that standing under an elm tree causes there pacer to move in their chest. (well, not quite, but close). That person could probably find a jury that would award damages for not being warned.

I used my tablet in the hospital post operatively and there were no problems nor did the nurses or physicians have any concerns. Use my Kindle all the time.
You know you're wired when...
You prefer rechargeable batteries.

Life does not stop with a pacemaker, even though it caught me off guard.

A lawyer, whose only mission is to protect the wallet of his employer.
Do you have any problems w/ your computer? Desktop, or laptop? Probably not, so do not expect any from an electronic book.
