Have you tested it?

I presume you're referring to the telephone check? Or the kind that constantly monitors you?

If it's the telephone check (with the magnet) have you actually tried it with a wireless phone? I use my Vonage phone for all my checks, and it works fine. I think they say they want a landline, but I never told them we'd switched and the readings are just fine.

I know there are others here who are using internet phones successfully.

Please don't get stressed about it: if you can't get the wireless phone to work, talk to your doctor about it. More and more people are doing away with their landlines, and they have to be able to offer an alternative answer.

I gave up mine

It's still hooked up and all, but if I go somewere for a couple days, I just leave it behine. After 2 years with the CRT-D and I'm in complete CHF., I just don't sweat it anymore. If the doctors want a reading, they just need to call.
