Hey All
So I'm 31 and had my first pacemaker inserted last Friday (28th Feb 13) and since Monday I have been getting a dull ache in my left arm pit and it kinda travels down the underside of my left arm to about my elbow.
I have an appointment with my GP tomorrow to have the dressing removed and I'm going to have a chat with him then, I'm just wanting to know if anyone else suffered from this to or if it's serious.
I've also been feeling a bit nauseous, light headed and really hot

I agree with Hope, you need to be seen sooner rather than later. Odds are this is NOTHING! Everything you listed can easily, and most likely, be attributed to something innocent but better safe than sorry.
Do you have any hot red spots on/near where the pain starts in your arm? If yes, it could be a clot and needs to be treated asap. It's likely your arm hurts because you just had a piece of titanium stuck in your chest ;o) You could have picked up a bug in the hospital, you could be reacting to the meds they gave you, sometimes they hit a nerve when inserting and it feels weird until it heals... lots of things, most of which are perfectly normal, but check it out anyway.
You know you're wired when...
Intel inside is your motto.

I am just thankful that I am alive and that even though I have this pacemaker it is not the end of the world.
