Extreme fatigue after PM was "desensitized"

I had PM implant in Feb. 2013 (you can read about it in the "complications" section of this site) and had it moved to the other side of my chest in June. At my follow-up visit in July, the PA "desensitized" my PM because I was having palpitations which I described at the time as "rumbling" in my chest. My healing has gone well, but since the desensitization, I am experiencing severe fatigue. In Sept., I saw the EP who had moved the device in June. He was not interested in discussing the issue with me. Said for me to come back in 1 year. It is a 4 hour trip each way and I was disappointed that he would not take me seriously.
Does anyone have any wisdom for me? For the record, I have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, celiac disease, all of which, obviously cause fatigue, but this is worse than ever. In early July, before having the sensitization changed, I would walk fairly long distances and had no problem with stairs. Now, I tire much too easily. Today there were workmen in the house, tromping around, banging and making lots of noise - I was asleep on the couch through it all. Something is not right!!

You should get a different ep if you can. Mine has me coming back twice a year. You also want to get an echo done to make sure there is nothing else gone with your heart.

I can't wait to give my son a run for his money again in the park again.
Make them change it back.

I'm not positive what you are saying with desensitizing the device...unless they are talking about the sensing capability of the A and V channels but that change doesn't make sense to me based on the symptoms you described.
If you felt better with one setting and now feel like crap...change it back...and don't wait a year to do it.
