New Pacemaker/defib

I just had my pacemaker/ defib implanted on Wednesday and I am still in a lot of pain. It is worse today than it was yesterday and just wandering if that is normal? Thanks!

I will say that everyone's body recovers differently. I have noticed that about three days after surgery is when my muscles are terribly stiff and sore. Like after you use muscles you haven't used in a while and the next day you wake up so stiff. It was my back and shoulder and i just had my husband massage a couple times the day it was really bad and the next day it already started feeling better. Sometimes you have to feel worse before you feel better!
