It takes a while for the meds to work out of your system, And depending on your activaty level when your PM was inserted, you will start feeling better. I felt wonderful full of energy, my heart rate was 60 instead of mid 40s. Just remember to follow dr.s orders in refrence to left arm, do move it, and roll your shoulder joint. Walking is good, if you are still dizzy, rest often, but do move around. Best wishs Jean

This is day6 for me. I feel better, I am able to move more today. I am finding out that it is a work in process. I went for a short walk around my home. I am not as tired as I was Sunday.

It is just over 10 years since a dual lead device was implanted for complete heart block. It has worked perfectly and I have traveled well near two million miles internationally since then.

You are really the only one that can answer that. Of course you are not supposed to lift more than 10 lbs with that arm and should not extend the arm. I should think that your dov gave you some practicle instructions. Make sure to still move the arm to keep those muscles loose. You can do whatever you feel comfortable with, there are no set in stone guidelines. If you start feeling dizzy or exhausted then take a break and rest. Don't over do it but if you feel comfortable then ease yourself back in to daily routines.
