I don't think there are stupid questions ... just folks asking for help understanding what is happening in their bodies with the experience of a pacemaker implanted....
most people come here for help in understanding their situation....it can be confusing, overwhelming, fear inducing....
See what your doc says & then let us know.... I have cold hands & feet all the time now... not sure why... so you could help me too when you find out!!!

Raynaud's?

If you didn't experience it as a sudden onset type of experience, I would say it sounds like raynaud's (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/raynauds-disease/DS00433/DSECTION=symptoms), which is typically more a nuisance than anything.

But since you say the symptoms are new, you should definitely check in with your dr. Any time you have new symptoms that concern you it's a good idea to do so.

that said, I agree with Don that there are a lot of side effects and residual effects from the anesthesia and the surgery itself that take some time to wear off.

You are 9 days post-op. Recovering just from the anesthesia & the knife wounds you incurred, this could be your reaction & recovery.

When did this all start? Immediately after the surgery or several days later?

I've had all those things happen post-op & got over them slowly as my endurance increased.

You go in Wed - ask at that time - that's what the visit is for.

I went back to work on Monday so my time at the computer has been limited as I have been coming home to sleep.

Anyway I didn't see the doctor I saw the lady who checks the pacemaker she said it could have been a reaction to the surgery in some way. It hasn't happened anymore but she told me to keep a log of strange things like that. I will tell you that the area my husband and I drove through got me again. Even though I've been down that road several times with no reaction, yesterday on my way to work I drove down that same road but instead of the feeling of a giant bee stinging me my heart was racing. I wonder if it has something to do with those power lines not only being really low but they are old and there is a high concentration of them....mostly they are all residential power lines. I have a small residentail line through our property that is low it's only about 6 years old. That never bothers me. I haven't gone near the power plant yet. Luckily I live on the cold side of the lake, the plant is on the warm side --- the plant is why the lake has a warm side. I rarely go to that side of the lake unless I have someone to visit.

The tech or NP thinks my sensitivity to the PM will go away however she doesn't understand.....I feel everything. My husband even laughed and told her that I will probably feel everything it does.

I have to get some prescriptions refilled and have to see my general practicioner soon I think I will ask her about the cold feet too.

Its only been 12 days since the surgery. I got cold hands and feet before I ever left the hospital. Has not gone away. I see a MAP on Thursday. Will be bringing it up to her. 

Does not make since I've gone from sweating like a pig to a freezer on hands and feet. I could be hotter then heck every where else. 

Doesn't matter what I do there not warming. 

I'll find out what I can and be back.
