Hi,
So I had my pacemaker put in.... a little over 2 months ago. I was told 6 weeks recovery time and at my 6 week appointment I was told I didn't have any more restrictions. I haven't gone out and done anything crazy but, ya know, I've obviously started using my left arm again and stuff. But, I'm really sore. Like, some days I a unbearably sore, to the point where I have to take advil or ibuprofen and ice it. I don't know what I'm doing that is upsetting the area so much and I don't know how to make it stop. Some days I forget I even have it, but other days I am just so sore.
I was thinking, could it be my bra strap? It doesn't touch the scar at all but I usually keep it kinda snug, so I was thinking of loosening it a bit, maybe that would help? Has anyone else found anything that they know irritates it? I'm only 21 and I don't wanna live with being sore all the time. I assume it will go away eventually but...I'm getting impatient. :\ Any ideas?

Time, just like a heart break : ) I got my first one when I was 26 and super active. I was a avid rock climber. I remember it still being being a painful or bothersome at three months, but decided to deal with the discomfort so I could get back to climbing. I think it was around six months where it was not such a problem.
I agree with Angry Sparrow regarding the bra. I bought looks of racer back tops and bras. Good luck with the healing.
