Good Morning All...just a question about my new Merlin Transmitter. I was told it would read my device at nite while I am sleeping. I have been awake at all hours but never saw the transmitter transmit. Does it blink, or anything but the little green light on the bottom right? I need to get some sleep and not keep trying to catch Merlin at work. Thanks.

Thanks Bev...
The Merlin man did tell me it would transmit between 2 & 3 am. Just find myself awake at all hours and can't go back to sleep wondering if it is working. Will have pacemaker appt on the 28th. Another thing is we have digital TV, Phone & Computer. Read where I might have to contact the TV people to get a filter. Appreciate your comment.

It does what it does without flashes and beeps if set up right. The only time after the initial set up that it did anything noticeable was when the power came back on after an outage. Then it cycled through the lights and reset itself. I had my doubts like you and. called the clinic after the first week to see if it was even working. They said it was transmitting fine. Pleasant dreams!

I too have a Merlin. I was told and given a list of 4 dates in the next year it does the checkup. once every three months. They didn't tell me it does it nightly but I have a pacer check by Merlin scheduled for this Friday and a doc apt next Friday so I will ask then how often mine transmits. Sleep well. I will let you guys know if I saw any lights this Friday. LOL

Must comment on my original post about the Merlin. It is working great! Even went away for 4 days..didn't take the Merlin and as soon as I got home it must have recorded all and when I went in for PM Check...everything was there.

Received EX1150

GM everyone, I am a newbie and received an EX1150 which unfortunately requires a landline connection, so we have ordered the USB EX1151SIM/Dongle.
I notice now the EX1150 dial up has no USB port so wondering who has USB CELL remote monitoring and how you hook it all up? Thanks.

I have a lattitude communicator but the idea is the same. Mine transmits every AM @ 2:00. There is no signal of any kind unless there is a problem that you need to react to. I have 3 colors of light that will indicate a response is needed. I'm sure that the people with Merlins will chime in as soon as they see your question. Meanwhile...try to get some sleep..lol Bev
