In response to Dorty--
I got my pacemaker the middle of August. Before the end of November, I was referred for cardiac rehab. I went for the evaluation and also visited the local YMCA (no membership charge through my health insurance). Cardiologist was thrilled with my decision to use the treadmill (which I started before holidays). I am going to make an appointment to be shown how to use the other cardio equipment. I also recently started water aerobics. Both are good workouts and I have so much more energy after each. I am considering increasing my workout each week to two days on the treadmill (maximum of 30 minutes) and two days of water aerobics. I'm confident my cardiologist will be encouraging.
My cardiologist said no to lifting weights. Check with your doctor.

Sometimes a device must be tuned a few times before it is right. My cardiologist said it is like fine tuning a car.
