adjusting

Hello all and thanks for past help.

I was sort of breathless in the mornings and tired when doing gardening etc.
The gave me more"air" and it worked.
I seem to have slipped back the where I was.
I just had a trip that involved me wheeling and carrying Carry-ons through 4 airports. It was exhausting and id have to sit a few times for a few minutes before resuming my efforts.
I see the DR this week.

CAN PMS FALL OUT of ADJUSTMENT? and need to be altered?
I hope so.
I am 85 and in great shape with this exception.

Fall out of adjustment???

NO, not very likely. All the adjustments are computer programming, nothing mechanical. Short of something very strongly magnetic affecting it.

Most likely, what has happened is that the requirements your heart needs have changed slightly.

When they gave you more air, most likely they changed the timing slightly on when the PM sends pacing signals to the heart. That can significantly affect how well you breathe, or at least how you perceive your breathing & the efficiency of the heart/lung system working together under stress.

If they tweaked it once, they can tweak it again.

Not likely for them to affect the PM.

When they download the data from your PM, they will know. Ask them specifically if there are any changes in settings.

You know you're wired when...

You make store alarms beep.

I've seen many posts about people being concerned about exercise after having a device so thought I would let you know that yesterday I raced my first marathon since having my pacemaker fitted in fall 2004.
