pacemaker

I am 15 and I am getting a pacemaker in Aug.Was going on a long trip.Was wondering if I will be able to go.At the end of Aug.

Hello friend,
If you are going to need a pacemaker, it is not so terrible. If you are really in need of a electronic device, you will feel better. You did not tell us why you are going to need one pacemaker. Most of us here have a pacemaker (PM for short). Other people have signed up to this site because they are looking for information for relatives or parents who will need or have a PM implanted.
Do not worry so much. I hope that everything goes well with you.

cold pack

I used ice or cold pack during early recovery. It helped a lot. You will be surprised how quick the procedure goes and how soon you feel good as new. Best of luck to you! Let us know how it goes.
