Went to the dentist about 4 weeks after having my ICD implanted. They still did all the normal stuff, although they did call my Cardiologist before they did anything...

I have had several procedures at the dds. Just last week I had a bridge and it was business as usual. Cleanings I get every 3 months and no problem.

My eight year old son had a pacemaker since he was 6 months old. He does very well, plays soccer, baseball, and rides his bike. I am so glad he is not ashamed of his pacemaker. He will proudly show his "battery" to anyone.

Yesterday I looked at my pm supplier's website regarding dental work recommendations.
Mine said it should be OK, but tell the dentist.
