Inversion Therapy

Wondering about using an inversion table also for my bulging disc and sciatic nerve. Does anyone know if it is ok? I have a defibrillator.

It won't affect the icd at all. If you are on beta blockers or have low bp, you may get dizzy. I don't do well upside down, but it's not from the pm.

My PM was implanted on Dec, 2012, and by the end of March 2013, I started using my inversion traction table with permission of my physician. I enjoy doing it very much, with no problem whatsoever. I only use it every morning before breakfast with empty stomach for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Good luck, Abbass

I have a PM.

Dr said I could use the inversion table after six weeks.

I did, and that was almost three years ago. To date I see no effect on the PM.

My back, however, thanks me, and without question I sleep better.

In fact after the final "tweaks" of my pacemaker programming at the one year check up it is working so well that I forget I have it.
