Have you done anything new lately? Most times I've had sudden soreness, when I thought about it I came up with something new, like a new move at the gym and when we got the boxing game for Wii and my sister and I went a little overboard gleefully punching each other for several hours.

Warning signs are fever, redness, swelling, oozing, streaks. When in doubt, get it checked.

Hi I had my second PM last year as the first one moved after 7 years and almost came through. So the surgeon re-positioned it - but one year on, it seems to have moved again. I have had the implant under my armpit as I coiuldnt bear to see it under my color bone........the pain (sometimes nerve pain) and brusing is back and I am so scared I have to go under the knife again. Does anyone have experience of this, can anything be done to coax it back into place?

A pacemaker completely solved my problem. In fact, it was implanted just 7 weeks ago and I ran a race today, placed first in my age group.
