weight loss
I signed up a little while ago and I read some posts about supplements and weight loss, but Im not sure how to respond or if people would still be interested to answer them for being old, two or three years old already.
Briefly, this is my story; put my ICD 3 years ago, had surgery for transposition of the great vessels aorta at nine months old, however.
I´ve always been a "big" guy, the one people can call chubby and I really dont fit on that, I dont feel good with it, I measure 1.75m and weight 90kg, I have done exercises and run 10 km per day, in addition to "bodybuilding", u know, gym.
My biggest concern is bellly fat, something that can not diminish, not even after these years using ICD and having a better life, exercising and all.
I wonder if any of you recommend supplement for fat burning. I try to eat good, salad and a piece of meat, lots of water, but it seems to me that my metabolism doesn't like me.
Is there any thing I could take to help me with my exercise routine? I've been reading about whey Protein and got interested....

I am just grateful to God that I lived long enough to have my ICD put in. So many people are not as lucky as us; even though we sometimes don't feel lucky.

and you will see that there are a lot of bigger runners. I have a friend that is about 50lbs overweight and runs 10+ miles several times a week and has done 3 half marathons. There is even a division for runners over 150lbs (women). I was using Burn 60 and I loved the extra energy it was giving me and the boost to my metabolism and running performance but it also made me sweat really really really bad. Then my potassium level dropped into the dangerous zone (2.1) despite rehydration with sports drinks and a potassium rich diet. I then had an episode of VT that led to my ablation and then the PM. I don't know if the Burn 60 had anything to do with my low potassium level but I stopped taking it immediately. My friend still takes it and she hasn't had any problems. I would say talk to your doctor before trying it.
