yes i check my rate off and on just because..
anyway i was thinking about HR % of PM being used..
There probably is no set answer just wondering what others are set at..
back almost a year ago when i get my PM it was set at 60 all the tme. i was being paced at like 90% i request it be lower to 45 at night, thought it would help me sleep.. Than i was paced about 75 maybe 80%. again requested a change for 40 at night, Rep messed up, set me at 40 all the time i was paced at 30-40 %. wnet back again now i am set for 40 for 6 1/2 hours at night 50 the other 17 1/2 hours now i am paced about 65% +/-. what are others set at and is 40 and 50 good?? My cardio Doc says she does not have many younger active people, she was looking to send me to a EP with more younger active people.. Do i just not worry about it if i feel OK??

You are correct, no set answer

Yes, you are correct, no set answer. What may work for me may make you feel rotten. It depends upon body type, what activity level at which you are comfortable, and your heart problems.
My PM is set at 60 BPM at a minimum all the time. I feel great with that. 40 is the level at which my EP gets concerned. But then I'm older than you and may need the increased blood flow. It may also have to do with my afib too.
If you feel good then I wouldn't get too concerned. Also don't get too hung up on percentage of pacing. Everyone is different and what you need is what you need
Glad you're feeling well.

if you feel ok

If you feel good, assume your settings are good! Don't stress over the pacing numbers, either, there is no right or wrong percentage. If your pacing changes that much by changing your number at night, that tells me you probably need it set higher, but again, if you feel ok then don't worry about it. If you find yourself tired during the day, you may find having it faster at night helps. 40 is very low but it may work for you.
