Feeling so nauseous.

I had an emergency pacemaker fitted in October 2013 after having my first A fib attack in September. Apparently I had syncope which caused my heart to 'pause' for 13 seconds five times in one day. I have since gone on to have an ablation in December and my PM shows no incidence of A fib which is great. I am also off all the heart drugs to. So all should be well, but it's not. I have been feeling nauseous since I had my PM in October but put it down to the heart meds, flecanide and bisoprolol, but I came off the drugs at the beginning of January. So why do I still feel so ill? Could it be my PM. I have been told that the lower lead is misplaced but I do not use it much so not to worry they will keep an eye on it at my PM checks.
Has anyone else had a problem with nausea, I am going for a PM check soon and would love to hear from anyone who has had a similar problem.

Getting off meds

You said that you got off meds at beginning January. Right now is January. I'm guessing, you just barely got off the meds, so you would need time for your body adjust to the freedom of no meds. Congratulations on that and the success of the ablation. Afib free and no meds? Say what? That's fantastic ! Happy for you.

Those meds are powerful stuff & usually you taper off.

IF tapering is necessary, and you did not, puking is a rational side effect.

Ypu have been on them for a while what does it matter if you taper off? A couple weeks is Just a little bit longer in the life of a human.
