Woo Hoo, Exercise!

I celebrated my 3 week PM anniversary by getting into the warm therapy pool at the gym for some very mild "Zumba" movement exercises. The fast stuff in the cold pool will come after my seven week moratorium on left arm movement ( arm above the should level or any large swimming motions) is lifted. I sort of kept my left elbow glued to my waist and did the movement in that arm with the forearm only. Still it was great to be back in the real world again. My incision is healed to the outside and I found a wonderful 2 1/2 " square waterproof clear patch "bandaid" by 3M at Walmart to cover it. For a larger incision you cold use two. I slept better last night also.

Fabulous got to get back to it.

Not too cautious!

The principal reason to restrict your arm movement is to allow the leads to become securely imbedded in the tissue. Keep your shoulder moving as normally as possible, too little movement can cause problems later.
Best wishes for a full recovery,

Johng

Congrats on getting back in the pool! Ditto Johng, don't keep the arm too still or your shoulder can freeze.

You know you're wired when...

You play MP3 files on your pacer.
