Tomorrow to the gym!!!!

O.K., I'm ready and raring to go --walking around the track, that is. Also stationary bike and a little treadmill, and some safe steps on the BOSU ball, while hold on a bar with my right arm. In other words,... still a bit compromised and a wee bit tired, and following all the doctor's limitations, BUT the spirit is there and the body will follow. Also it helps that I picked up (actually bought, not stole) some snazzy, colorful exrcise pants and top! The PM won't keep me down. And really, I had only a salad, lean meat and decaf for supper, although it sound like I downed a bottle of red wine. :) I'm finally getting out from under the PM begginer's blues.

Flutey - Stay off...

...The Bosu Ball. I saw one in Costco today. If you fall, even holding on w/ the RIGHT arm, you could rip the crap out of something. A fall is NOT a controlled action. You respond w/ some pretty violent muscular reactions, perhaps pulling on that left side & ripping a lead out. Falls are like that.

Don

O.K. Thanks!

I've never fallen off, but this is not the time to even think about it. Also, my favorite equipment of all is the TRX straps where you use only your own body and own weight. That is probably off limits for several months . I am a 75 year old female and avoided the heavy machines before the PM because there was too much chance of the machine causing injuries. Mostly I do free limited weights and stabilty balls and mat exercises and water classes.

great ! )

Good to hear, sounds like you are ready to hit the gym. Just start slow and easy.

You are doing great
