My wife wants to put up a magnet strip on a kitchen wall to hang knifes on. Should I be concerned about the affects on my pacemaker. How far away from it should I stay?
Thank you,
John

Otherwise, Tracey is correct.

Has a point.
I'd worry more about the knives.

I have 2 above my work surface. It never occurred to me that it might affect pm. I keep forgetting I have one! I really do not know how close I get. I know that the strip is far more hygenic than a knife block.

In fact after the final "tweaks" of my pacemaker programming at the one year check up it is working so well that I forget I have it.

6" is the rule of thumb, so no problem.
