First Check Up

Hello, I am new to this site and would like any hints and tips for my first check up tomorrow. I had a pacemaker implant for sick sinus syndrome/paf. I started on 1,25mg of Bisoprolol but have increased that in the last few days to 2.5mg.I was on the lower dose for two weeks. One of my queries is can they tell from my check up tmrw just how much of the medication I need.I have read they will be able to tell me if I have had palpitations, flutters, or af. My af episodes have been hours long( last episode in Jan) My pm is set for 60.

Thank you.

Yes, your new device should be able to tell your doctor what has been going on within your heart and from that, they should be able to adjust your medications accordingly. I'm sure they will be very careful with your Afib.
Good Luck!

Thank you Niecey for your reply. I must say that I am looking forward to getting all the information that the pacemaker can give.My pm is set for 60 bpm but I am sure this morning when i took it manually it was below that. That will be my first question.
Thanks again
Smokie.
