I just finished about 45 minutes on treadmill at a fairly brisk pace of 3.5 mph and elevated incline of 4% - I feel great and no AF flutters to speak of -- the AF flutters seem to be mainly at night when I am at rest. Does anyone else have that experience ? Thanks --

That seems to be my experience,AF more at rest and not when I am moving about or active. The Dr. is of course aware of greater potential for stroke with AF and has put me on Eliquis ( glad I have good partial insurance coverage, very expensive med ) -- As the late Jimmy Stewart said once " after 60 a patch here,a patch there -- it's patch, patch, patch --- 8-)

Life does not stop with a pacemaker, even though it caught me off guard.
Tiredness and AF

My AF is almost exclusively just prior to dozing or going to sleep these days. Talking with others with AF, tiredness seems to be quite a factor in inducing atrial fibrillation.
You may want to try a Valsalva manoeuvre to stop the AF- it works for me, my AMS readout from my pacemaker confirms the time and duration of the episodes.
As you, like me, are able to detect when you have AF this seems to be a useful way forward as prolonged AF is associated with a risk of thromboembolism ( blood clots and strokes ).
