Hi! My PM was implanted very recently- tried using my fitbit today, but it won't capture steps when it's placed on my waistband. Has anyone else encountered issues with the fitbit counting steps and pacemakers?
Thx so much!

I have the Ultra. It's similar to the Fitbit One, just an older version. I actually won it from Dr. Oz a few years ago and it still works great!
It didn't work well on my waistband either, or in my pocket. I have to clip it on the neck of my shirt and then my bra strap to keep it secure in order to record every step or flight of stairs. Not sure if you are female or male. You could probably clip on through your shoe laces too.

I've had my One for a year now. It works fine for steps. It's never accurate on stairs. Fitbit replaced it once under warranty but it still is always off, since the steps work I didn't pursue. No idea if the pm is part of the problem.
I either put it in my pocket on clip to my bra.

I've been using mine for 8 months with no problems. I have the Fitbit One.
