foot turns blue

The blue foot most likely has some cause unrelated to the pacemaker.

If an ultrasound has already been scheduled, it sounds like the staff at the rehab are on top of the situation.

Myself, I wouldn't start worrying until I knew exactly what there was to worry about.

I agree

They sound like they are on top of it but is there no one on duty that can do the ultrasound over the weekend?

I have had my pacer since 2005. At first it ruled my life. It took some time to calm down and make the mental adjustment. I had trouble sleeping and I worried a lot about pulling wires. Now I just live my life as I wish.
