do you need to see the cardiac specialist everytime you get shocked?thanks.

Ask your Doctor what he/she wants you to do.

For my unit, a Biotronik, I was told to call the doctor's office at my convenience following one shock. If I received a second shock within a 24 hour period, I should report to the Emergency Room (and bring my wallet of course).

But if you want to be absolutely sure you are following your doctor's advise you should ask them.
