commercial dehydrator

I was making doggie treats in our dehydrator yesterday when I started having discomfort in pacemaker area. Called lab and they thought it possibly was pacing and that is why the feeling. I was uncomfortable all night, finally taking x-tra strength Tylenol for aching.
My dual lead pacemaker was implanted 11/20 due to heart block which became total block while implant was being done.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Poor dogs

My son's two dogs would gladly help you with making the treats. Taste testing would be at the top of their list. They would want to make sure the treats would come up to their level of quality.

There shouldn't be anything in the typical US household that would affect the PM with EMF or RFI so I doubt the dehydrator was the cause of your discomfort.

Up until the fifth month with my PM I was having all sorts of twinges and weird feelings. Even had a couple of sessions where it felt like my heart completely stopped beating. (It didn't but that's what it felt like.) It wasn't until I got my PM report at the year mark that I could go back and see how my heart was adjusting for the first five months. Really eye opening to see the adjustment. So your heart may still be adjusting to life with the PM. And yes, it is disconcerting to have those feelings while the heart adjusts.

What you eventually sort out is if - 1) it isn't really painful, 2) you don't feel really sick - it's probably something you don't have to worry about. Keep moving, keep doing things, keep going on with your life.

Got a recipe for the dog treats? Hang in there. Life gets better.

doggie treats

Thank you for responding. The dog treats are really easy,
Chicken breasts sliced 1/4" thick, baked at 325 degrees for 30 minutes, then 150-160 degrees in dehydrator for 4 he's or till dried completely. I keep them in refrigerator afterward.
Sweet potato sliced as thin as you want, either lengthwise or in chips. 140 degrees for 6-12 he's, depending on whether you wants chips or chewies. ;-)
Thanks again for responding.

Since I got my pacemaker, I don't pass out anymore! That's a blessing in itself.
