Three months and pacemaker feels it is too confined like a a two pound cantaloupe in a one pound opening. Soreness is almost always there. Any one else have this happen?

The pacer systems are really very reliable. The main problem is the incompetent programming of them. If yours is working well for you, get on with life and enjoy it. You probably are more at risk of problems with a valve job than the pacer.
Yeah, same for me

My PM pocket was tight and sore for about five months. I didn't want anyone to touch it and couldn't have water from the shower fall directly on it because it was so sore and tender. As I'd move around sleeping, sometimes the PM moving in the pocket would wake me up.
Gradually it loosened up as the skin stretched and the scar tissue formed. Then I went through some other adjustments as I started doing more vigorous exercise. I'd get all sorts of weird feelings as the skin was stretched even more and more scar tissue formed. As I remember it was almost a year before I "forgot" it was there. Some people are more sensitive than others. AngrySparrow says she feels hers all the time. Most of the time I know mine is there because I can feel it.
Some people get "ant bites" as a feeling while the scar tissue forms and the nerves heal. I did get some of that. After starting the vigorous exercise it felt like I had a silver dollar with very sharp edges in the PM pocket. At seven months the PM pocket would start to itch really bad. I'd have to move the PM around in the pocket to get it to stop itching. Not supposed to do that, but it was driving me insane. No reason, it would just start to itch.
Tylenol, cold and warm, dry compresses helped. Increasing my water intake and hydrating more helped. Mostly it was just getting used to having the PM. I don't complain about it as my other option - being without the PM - means I wouldn't be alive. So it's a comfort knowing it's there.
Hope things go better for you.
