EMF and PM's
by Theknotguy - 2014-12-15 12:12:54
Nothing in the typical American home can affect PM's. Especially those implanted within the last 3 - 5 years.
I'll attach a link to the Medtronic PDF that goes into detail about EMF (Electro Magnetic Frequency) interference. Basicially it says you would have to be hugging a larger electric motor while it is running for it to bother the PM. The only other area in which you should be careful is in a heavy industrial setting. Even then, with proper precaution, you don't have to worry as the newer PM's are shielded so well.
Most of the other warnings you see - don't use a cell telephone on the PM side of your body - don't use a car remote - etc. Are there to appease lawyers and fend off potential nuisance lawsuits.
Enjoy your electronic games.

You know you're wired when...
Your pacemaker receives radio frequencies.
