hello,
Wondering if someone has experienced a similar thing -- I currently have my second Pacemaker/ICD, I've never had complications before with either device but tonight I'm having trouble with pain in the area of the ICD. It's been implanted since 2011. I've also noticed that I'm being shocked by touching metal objects (not an ICD shock, but static ) a lot more frequently the last two days -- any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks.

You received a new watch lately?
I had a HR monitor/ watch (cheap name brand) that would give me shocks when I touched metal like the refrigerator door in the supermarket or a metal part on the treadmill.
My Nurse in Cardiac Rehab tried the watch on and touched the metal part of the treadmill and she too got a shock. She did not have a PM. Back it went and then I got a Polar HR monitor and have had no problems/ shocks with it for over 5 years now.
Just a thought.

I'm 43 and have had my pacemaker four weeks today. I'm looking forward to living another 50 years and this marvelous device inside me will help me do that.
