itching

had ICD put in 02./13/15, feeling good. But dealing with this itching is me nuts. Do they make acream for that

Itching as it heals is normal! I used medical grade vitamin e ointment that I got from my chiropractor. Plain aloe- no added chemicals or color- works great, too. My surgeon said just keep it moist, doesn't really matter what you use.

Be super careful not to let your incision in the sun for the first year, either cover it or slather a good quality sunscreen on it. Other than that, I don't baby it or do any of the precautions Sparrow listed. I'm a slacker but it hasn't backfired on me so far ;)
