Skiing

Well, my titanium buddy and I went skiing for the first time yesterday. We had a blast! It is so great to feel good and be able to live life to its fullest. For all of you newbies out there wondering if life ever gets better...it does! Hang in there!

I have lived in snow most of my life and never tried skiing before. I think I just found my winter sport!

Peace & love,

I May Try

by Bionic Man - 2010-01-09 02:01:06

I always wanted to try skiing. My knees are in tough shape so I never did. Now that I have a pacer I thought I'd never do it. After reading your post I may give it a try. I also agree with you. I had a tough time adjusting to the pacer and one day it was like someone threw a switch and I was able to do all the things I once enjoyed. It does get better. It just takes some time.
Maybe I'll see you on the slopes,

Ela-girl,

Good for you.

As you may know, I ski. It's a great family winter sport. My wife and I ski and my sons snowboard. It's a blast!

My pacemaker has not prevented me from enjoying life. I fact it allows me to do more things.

Cheers,

Blake

Changes your entire outlook on winter. You can't wait for the snow! I ski local Seven Springs(PA) Holiday Valley(NY) Snowshoe(W.VA.) All within driving distance from S.West. PA. Don't forget a pad to shield the Pacer.
Enjoy and have wine&cheese at the lodge!!!
