Hello! I had my pacemaker implanted on January 26. I have been working on getting back in shape. I have noticed I can start an activity and feel great then all of a sudden will feel kind of strange like the energy was drained. If I keep working I can push through but it's diconcerting has anyone else had this experience?
I have also noticed it after eating sometimes.

Why did you need the PM?

It doesn't state why in your Bio. If it was for SSS, ask your Doctor if the Rate Response feature is on...that should help.

Take it Easy

Hi New to This,
Take it easy and don't feel rushed. Allow yourself time to recovery from the surgery. The important thing is to allow the scare tissue to form around your leads to the heart. Once that's established, you can go bungee jumping or climb Mt Everest. My cardiologist told me not to do any exercise (swimming was my preferred exercise) for 6 months. I followed the instructions. Recently I had my 3rd interrogation and the doc said the wires are firmly planted in the arteries. They are my buddies for life.
Cheers,
2john
You know you're wired when...
You can feel your fingers and toes again.

Recent Pacemaker

Do not exaggerate your effort. Take it slow. Is very recent your pacemaker implantation. Mine was on January 16 and I have a heart condition with intensive treatment. I feel exhausted an hour of being in my garden. My cardiologist tells me is what my body gets used. And that to me is going to take longer for my multiple conditions.
