Pace maker pain...

I have a 2 month old pacemaker that is cauing me pain along the scar and around the outside edge of the divice. Also have a medtronic heart loop. There does not seem to be an infection but just a bothersome pain. Wakes me up, hard to sleep on stomach. Almost like a burning sensation.
I was having syncopes, heart pausing, reasons for PM. Was suppose to correct but it has not and infact the syncopes are getting worse. Today 1 about every hour or so. They are very destressing casuing you to feel week, tired along with the PM pain not a good day. Going to see a neurologist about the syncopes as heart dr. thinks they may be autonomical reactions, something about the vegas nerve. Any one else have any insight about these issues? Thanks, Sandie

I had pain along the scar and edge of the device but it has almost gone away now. Have had my PM 6 weeks or so. It has some movement still but I think once the scar tissue forms around it I will not notice it much. Hoping anyway. I do not have the loop thing so maybe that is the problem. Hope you get an answer.
