Could Be Diaphragmatic Pacing

Hi Laughing,

It may be one of your PM settings is on a little too high and stimulating your diaphragm (diaphragmatic pacing). I, and many others, had that at the beginning, and even now from time to time. Mine started right away, when I was still in the hospital, so when they came to do the first check, I mentioned it to them. They made one quick adjustment and turned down one of the settings on one of the leads, and it stopped right away.

Every once in a while, it will start up again, but will go away on its own.

Mention it to your doctor or PM tech so they can turn down the setting on the lead that may be stimulating the diaphragm. Hopefully, that will do the trick and you will feel much better right away!

Good luck!

Many Blessings

It's much better to live with a pacemaker than to risk your life without one.
