My long blessed life with a Pacemaker

I have been living with a Pacemaker for 42 years. I walk 3 miles every day. Life is great!!

Is that a Pacemaker Club record ? I wonder if anyone can beat it ??

I assume that you have had the odd day without walking 3 miles to have pacemaker changes . How many have you had now ??

Thanks for making us newbies feel better. I've only had my pm for 6 weeks and always worrying and thinking ahead about how long my battery will last and will my leads hold up..... I would just love to be able to forget I have a pm. Hearing that you have had yours for 42 years is very encouraging ! Thanks for sharing and long may you run !
