Monthly pacemaker checks

Does anyone have their pacemaker checked via computer. I have a nurse from a hospital call and we do a check over the phone. Just wondering about the new technology.

I do a great deal of traveling in our rv. So I do get checked by phone and appt. but usually only every three months. It is quite easy except for finding a phone that is a land line. Most of the rv parks are cooperative and helpful, but once in a while, they do not have land lines and I have to reschedule until I can find one. it is quiet easy and I have no problems as long as I follow instructions. Like no tv on nearby. In fact, the instructions are on the inside of the top of the connection box. computers are not involved on my end. just a simple box and magnet. the techs are very helpful and understanding. If you have any specific questions, feel free to contact me in private message..Ann

A pacemaker completely solved my problem. In fact, it was implanted just 7 weeks ago and I ran a race today, placed first in my age group.
