I had a pacemaker put in 6 weeks ago. My ankles are still swollen and now my left hand is very swollen, Is this normal?

Definitely DO have this examined ... something is seriously wrong . I too have swollen feet, ankles, calves and now use compression socks ..and medication ..I think that the edema is slowly improving ..
Its been seven weeks with me and my St. Jude two wire PM ...
