I had my PM put in in April. Symptoms were feeling like I was going to pass out, then it would go away, but happened sometimes, several times a day...Still have these "spells" but not as often. I recorded the date and time each time and had them check it on the report from my PM. They tell me these are PVC's and that I will need meds to control them.
Like you, I was led to belleve the PM would solve the problem...why didn't I just go on meds to start with...frustrating, I know.
I choose not to do the meds. I have fewer spells now as time goes by. Feel much better.
Same symptoms before and after

If you had the same symptoms before getting the pacemaker, it's possible that the pacemaker cannot cure those symptoms.
Sounds more like panic attacks to me. I would get them quite often especially after getting a pacemaker. Symptoms of panic attack.....severe anxiety, heart racing, dizzzy and just feeling frightened. Thankfully they have stopped but occasionally under severe stress, I will get one. Then I get up and walk around and try to distract myself from what is happening. When you get those feelings, the worse thing you can do is sit home and worry about it! Go outside and be involved with people. Try and distract your mind.
And even though you may not want to go back to Dr, you should! Remind him that the symptoms you are having are frightening and interfering with your quality of life. Have him check the pacemaker again to be sure it's functioning the way it should. Then if he says it is....get up and get on with living. You are young and have your whole life ahead of you. Enjoy it and remember not to worry about your heart...you now have a little internal Angel watching it for you, so you don't have to.
Hugs to you and feel better....

thank you for caring..actually i try to walk evry day in yard but sometimes I can't do anything..really weak and about passing out...I also would d like to mention that before I was lifting weights 4 times a week,I don't know if it can also be caused by stoping it suddently..but i had too.because one day after training..i passed out .it was on march so from that day i was resting because evry day i was feeling that i was going to pass out again.and after one month i becam weaker and weaker each day..so i couldn't lift anymore.we went to doctors almost every day ,we tried everything..but we didn't find it.and in my country medical cares ar not really good so we decide to go abroad .i had the holter 24H as I said before .and saw the 4seconds rest.
so when I told you I didn't want to go to the doctor ?the truth is that I can't because I m back in my country here i guesse we can't check the biotronik brand.but when I was there i had it checked because I have already felt the symptoms.I went back to him 5 times I think after the operation.he was a bit fed up..but he told me everything was ok with my little angel and I I could go home same and we ll see each other next year..
.very long story I know..well thank you for the advice,I try to go out from time to time.but I guess I can't go out alone..
hugs
thank you

Thank you for answering .It s good to know that someone could understand me..Here family and friends and the doctoer yold me it s just in my head and not to think about it .But I know it is for real..They say I m depressed and everything, but if it goes on I think I m really going to be depressed...
Like you said,it's frustrating. Now we have to live with it till the end without being sure wether it s the solution or not.sometimes I think it is necessary because when I had the holter, it found many rests of 4 seconds during sleeping.so now why do I still have the same feelings as before. Is it possible that it s PVC too?
But like you. They get fewer. But there are days I feel realy really bad..I hope they will soon disapear for good .as far as I m concerned i am still 24 and hope to live long and better.(smile)
it was nice to talk.wish all the best for you..
And sorry for my english.
Dysautonomia

Research Dysautonomia, Neurocardiogenic Syncope. I have this and this could be your answer. God bless! Let me know if you have questions. I had my Pacemaker implanted because of severe Neurocardiogenic Syncope with severe bradycardia. The Pacemaker helps the Bradycardia but not the other symptoms related to Dysautonomia.
You know you're wired when...
Your pacemaker receives radio frequencies.

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
please
