Hi I had a pacemaker fitted last year after passing out 3 times.
I had I tilt table test that confirmed I needed a pace maker.
Ever since I had it fitted I still get the same feeling I got before I passed out sick hot flush sweaty and a little confused and a metal taste it lasts about 2 or 3 mins then I feel better.i am interested if any one else has similar symptoms

NCS?

You sound kind of typical of NCS. If so, passing out is caused by the heart stopping, blood pressure dropping, or a combination of both. The pacer can fix the heart part but can't control the bp, so it sounds like maybe your bp still tanks sometimes but the pacer keeps your heart going so you aren't passing out. Talk to your doctor, if that's what it is then diet and medication can help with the other half of the problem. Good luck!

In fact after the final "tweaks" of my pacemaker programming at the one year check up it is working so well that I forget I have it.
Happened to me

This used to happen to me after my PM (only on the golf course) so my doctor suggested that I eat more salt to offset the effects of the Sotalol beta blocker and my low blood pressure. Now I take a salted apple on every golf round and this problem has stopped.
