I want to go up to 15 lbs on my biscep and other exercises. My pacemaker has been installed for 4 years. Should I have any problems ?

I have been doing weights at a slow pace for 3 years. I lift 3 x a week, plus cardio. I am in the best shape ever. I never was overweight, just needed weights. But, no hardcore. Is there a website where people can go for different types of free weight exercises for guide ?

I left as well. Did so before my implant I left less weight and increased my repetations. Not the same I tire more, however, that may be age related. Very much enjoy working out , most men my age don't do as well. Thanks for your post.

I'm 35 and got my pacemaker a little over a year ago. It definitely is not a burden to me. In fact, I have more energy (which my husband enjoys), can do more things with my kids and have weight because of having the energy.

From reading your previous posts it doesn't sound like you have been doing no exercises.
Yea, warm up before you exercise. Then lift all you can handle. If you get sore remember, no pain no gain.
As far as the ice goes, work out hard enough and put the ice in a glass and fill the glass with water.
Have a great workout.
