accidently hurt area on pacemaker

I accidently hurt my 2 month old pacemaker by leaning over and accidently gettingmy pacemaker caught on something and it is swollen and sore on the pacemaker skin site.Its not that swollen but I feel that I toresometing because I could feel pain when it happened.It is still sore.These pacemakers feel like they are barely under the skin and mine is about the size of a small size of soap.What are the chances of seriously hurting it by accidently getting it caught on something.They is no tear in the skin,I am just worried since the area is now sore and slight bump over area on skin.

Ice it. If it's not better in a few days call your dr, but they're titanium so odds are you did not hurt it. We, on the other hand, are not quite so tough.

I would say that even though you may not have hurt the pacemaker, the leads are much more fragile. It sounds like your injury wasn't serious but it might not be a bad idea to call your doctor and discuss your concerns.
