Burning in Chest

Hi everyone! I just became a member about 5 minutes ago and I already have a question! My pacemaker was put in almost 4 months ago which means I am still get used to it. This evening after lifting plates for our dinner I started to feel a burning feeling in my chest. It is still there and gets worse when I move my arms. I could not lift my 5 year old son tonight. Is this normal? If so, I can tolerate the pain, but I just need to know. Thank you for time and reading this.

You probably pulled scar tissue

You probably pulled some scar tissue. It can really hurt when you do that. It's part of the process of healing. You start to feel better, stretch a little more than usual and end up pulling some scar tissue.

In any case, I'd call your EP's office and see if they concur. It could be something else but if you're able to put up a post about it, it probably isn't serious.

I pulled scar tissue throwing a ball for the dog. Really hurt and I had to go back to throwing underhanded for about a month.

Cold compresses and tylenol will help.

Hope everything else is going well for you.
