My phys therp had me stand in a doorway, palm against the jam, with my palm at shoulder height, walk towards the room sliding palm upward till you feel tingling. Hold for 5 seconds, then lower palm back to shoulder level, repeat 5x, twice a day.

I have had my pacer since 2005. At first it ruled my life. It took some time to calm down and make the mental adjustment. I had trouble sleeping and I worried a lot about pulling wires. Now I just live my life as I wish.

I wouldn't do any paused movements at first (Damage to new tissues). The tingling would indicate that your forcing your muscle past it's range of motion (unsafe). I would do the movements and hold for a couple seconds more frequently then progress to the movements your pt suggested. I just started stretching full out and I'm getting into my 3rd month post op. Still kinda worried about damaging affected wounds so I'm taking it easy for another couple weeks.
